The REserve would have been the clone donor for the Big John bull as well.  3 of the top 5 were clone donors that year.

That's a neat video! Pretty funny how the judge said that then the steer got loose, thought the char should've been reserve or 3rd though

So did quite a few people at the time.

The milkman x n117 that Mimms raised that won Ft worth a few years back. Although the smilin bob x whiskey that Kroupa is showing is going to be up there. That calf is amazing.

That Morrow steer that was sold by Goretska. He's now owned by Launters or Bonhams or something. Hes pretty salty and I cant wait to see how he turns out later on.
I like that steer, there was a reason he was on the cover of Lautners catalog two years in a row. Once with Kayla Morrow at the Missouri AGR and once with Baylor Bonham at the American Royal.

The Newman Houston Grand 05.  I had a student waiting in line to sale at HLSR with that steer and got to put my hands on him.  I have never seen or felt more muscle with that correct a finish and then walk like a cat.  I have not handled any other grands a majors, but that steer impressed visually and then as I handled him.
