I have a few commercial style angus cows that I am thinking of breeding to a clubby bull. I am trying to get some steers for my girls to show. The cows need more bone and muscle. What bull would y'all say would best suite for addIng these traits.

My youngest son has a walks alone calf that is 1020 for  a june county fair. He is a very very nice calf super sound big ribbed big footed and easy feeder I agree Walks alone is a good one and should be considered. I have seen other really nice calves form him.

Most of them are a little on the small side...

As far as yellow jacket, I would stay way from him if your wanting show steers.  They have a tendancy to get a little framed up and hard to finish.  He is on the other hand a good heifer maker...

Maybe ol' HEATWAVE himself would work on those cows.

Exactly what I was thinking. I would sweat on the birth weight and don't have the nerve in me any more.

The first Walks Alone 1st calf heifers are calving just this spring, so we don't know much at all about them other than the fact that to me they do not have a very maternal or angular look to them. They do look powerful though!
