How old are you? If I knew, I might be able to understand why you can't pay attention to what others have to say.

It's no use.....we already tried. Still taking no suggestions or spelling hints. And still hijacks every thread.

U need to decide when u want her to calve... Personally, I don't do summer calves, and I consider April summer when it comes to calving seasons. If she's big enough and she's cycling, there's not reason you can't breed her earlier if you'd rather have her calve earlier in the spring.
you hit the nail square on the head with thatQuick fire said:AAOK said:Carlson Cattle said:will breeding her too early not let her stick?

I believe he said on another post that he was 14. He doesn't read through all responses. He wants to learn but needs to slow the hamster down and pay attention to what people tell him.
My AI man will not AI past the end of June. He says that conception rates go down. This is coming from someone that does a few thousand head a year so he knows what he is doing. CIDRs do work but if the cow was in the first few days or almost ready to come into heat they will not work.
The CIDR itself may not be "work" in those cases but the GNRH and PGF2 alphas play a role then.
