Any suggestions on breeding a MAB heifer for calving ease?  She's out of a Dream On X Black Bear X Angus cow.

If u want sure fire calving ease, use brilliance, rito 6i6 , final answer ( all Angus) . brilliance would be my choice for today's look and desired characteristics. If you want red Angus, use detour or fat Tony.

It depends on what your goal is.  I bred some MAB heifers to Rapid Rewards since they could be TH and RR is not.  Also, RR is calving ease and produced the Grand Champ at Houston this year.  Also, I used Smokin Joe on a group of heifer this year and they are were born small and look great as they grow.  He is double clean.  But I am trying for colored calves for the Texas market.

I have a Sim Angus X MAB who will get bred to Slider after she is shown as a Market Heifer assuming she doesn't fall apart.
