I have a jpj heifer who is due to calf in a month and i don't know what to breede her to. I have Asset, Get Serious, and Capiche what would be the best match and bring the most money.

I would rank those bulls from a markability standpoint as Asset, Get Serious, Capiche. I'm sure you know this but Capiche is also out of JPJ so for me I don't think I would go that route, calf may not grow enough. I have never had an Asset calf but from what I have seen he is the real deal. I have had a few Get Serious calves and seen several that my neighbor had, I'm a fan of his for sure. You might wait and see how she does with this first calf, Asset and Get Serious may big a little big on the BW for a 2nd calf out of a JPJ heifer. Just my opinion.

I agree with this, Asset will make the most marketable calf

She is a heifer out of JPJ. So does that make her a calving ease heifer? Is Asset a "heifer safe bull".

Hum, Having a JPJ heifer that is about to turn a year in March, ive been wondering what im gonna do as far as breeding her to a heifer safe bull. Probly not going to use the Bloodstone sons on her the first time around. I will probly go back and read the "Shorthorn Heifer Safe Bulls" thread and get some more ideas, but as of now i am stumped.
This maybe is different but i think I wanna use kinda of an old school style bull Roanoke Flashback 704 and ive heard of his sire TPS Coronet Leader 21st he is in the JPJ bloodline. So i guess number one i would be line breeding the TPS Coronet Leader 21st. Flashback's dam is out of RPS Tribune 82  which w all know as the sire to HS Rodeo Drive 062WR.
Pretty much we have been breeding Bloodstone daughters and granddaughters to JPJ on their first calve. Now im going to try the Roanoke Flashback 704 on these JPJ heifers as they come in.

Asset himself had a recorded BW of 105#s. It seems like when mated to Trump lines his calves push the upper 90's and 100# range. I have an Asset x 20/20 vision daughter. She is the most moderate female I have. Freaky freaky fronted tons hair decent bone in relation to size. I have her bred to 329 for a calf here in the next week. Since that is all you have my first choice would be Get Serious saw lots of good ones out of him last summer. I think his EPD's are on the heavy side also.
What is the goal for the calf?

Roanoake Flashback is a great choice!  Joe was thinking ahead when he bred and kept that bull.  Even though JPJ has Leader in his line, I don't think using it again on the JPJ daughters is a terrible idea.  Will hopefully bring some good consistency to BW
I have a similarly bred bull that I would be glad to have you try.

TPS Coronet Leader 21st-- sire  Shadybrook Presto 73--dam
Joe's Roanoke bull got me thinking-- I need to get on this bloodline too and I had the opportunity to get my own TPS sired bull.
Check our webpage for his pic and stats:  www.fordfamilyshorthorns.com
Yes, this is a totally shameless plug.LOL ;D

Breed her to Basic Instinct and wait a year or so for the Asset breeding
who dat?

Not sure what you mean .... I use Angus bulls on some of my heifers as well as JPJ. Since JPJ heifers are usually moderate I personally would be a little scared of the Asset breeding ( nothing against him -he's a great bull I think) just afraid of a big BW. Duff Basic Instinct is a tank of an Angus bull and I really like the progeny I've seen out of him. Blue roans  are popular so why not try him.

Cattlevisions...........couple clicks of the mouse and a credit card number and its on its way. More and more choices everyday. If it was me I would list the Asset for sale on the classifieds and take the money. 10 srtaws could buy you a nice little cruise in the carribean. I hear its nice this time of year.

In all seriousness.....with as many full siblings that are on the market and as accessible as the genetics are I am with TG. I would make 300 a pop. Even if you sold 5 straws you'd have a nice start on a trip.

This opinion makes sense based on the value of the semen alone.  Just checked cattle visions and there is 126 bulls listed under Shorthorn of various pedigrees and types.  Ranging from $300 for Asset (the highest value) down to $15 per straw not to mention everything in between.

I suspect as a 3 year old your female could have an Asset if that is what your market is geared towards.
