Thanks OH breeder! I will have to look into using the Who 2 or possibly the monopoly 2 (semen of monopoly too high for me)? What would you recommend? Or possibly Monopoly Money, Walks alone? There are just sooo many bulls out there to choose from. My plan  is to AI three cows. A heifer to brilliance, an angus to Grandmaster and this simmy to possibly monoply 2 or the Who? I am planning on keeping one of the possible calves as a replacement and the others will be sold. I'm thinking that the brilliance and grandmaster calves will be good forreplacements depending on which one turns out to be the best. The money used from selling the other two calves will be used towards college or buying half of my senior year show calf.

Well her 3rd calf was born last night and was unassisted!  (clapping) I probably won't weigh the calf but she seemed decent sized. Not too big and not too small. Thinking along the lines of AI-ing this cow to Walks Alone bc the Monopoly 2 price has doubled.

WALKS ALONE and BIM sire about the same- Only difference is, BIM is smoother shouldered, which your cow is not, and he's been prooven to pass that on to his offspring.

If your worried about calving issues- One and Only is your guy.

Ok I will look into One and Only b/c she's had a history of hard pulls/large calves. Thankfully this one was unassisted. Do you think that One and Only calves are marketable at $1500?

another thing with one and only is you will probly get a simmi colored calf ... First born they don't look as good there better with age. With b.i.m he will make the calf a little softer than walks alone and from what ive seen Very hairy

Thanks for the advice. If I breed her to the Who Made Who clone, do you think the calf would be sellable? Or would I be wasting my time? Some suggest Monoply Money or a Monopoly clone??? Or would she likely have trouble having a calf from them?

By looking at the size of that cow, I would use Monopoly. He will reduce overrall frame size and should give you a very marketable calf. If you are shooting for heifers, WMW is pretty good as long as the cow has never had any calves with structure issues. I have had more structure issues with Who than other clubbier bred bulls. I am not a fan of Dr. Who but that was my experience on sim angus cow. He did not provide me the muscle and bone that i was looking for. The calf most likely took the recips attitude cuz he was loony. I think if you even have an inkling of selling use what is selling. If you are looking to build a set of maternal replacements that's a whole nother conversation.
Issues with calving is not a candidate for breeding to Monopoly at my house. He has his place (well earned), but the largest calf I have seen on my place since the Full Throttle era was a Monopoly out of a Buck x 6807 cow that was plenty big and powerful. I do agree with maternal statement. That cow at my house would see a straw of OCC Picture Perfect (not a paid endorsement he is a Legend son out of Emblazon's sister is my feeble mind is correct...). Not knocking your cow either, I have had some great replacements out of virtual twins to her and OCC Legend ($100 a straw not for me). I have not had any steers out of that type of cow for a while, others I am sure have had different experiences. $2.00 feeder calves have made my breeding decisions much more maternal as of late... (lol)

Well I've decided to go with BIM. For a simmy heifer I'm going to use SAV Brilliance, and for a mainly angus but with some simmy 2nd calver I'm going to use Grandmaster. Thanks for all of the advice! Wish me luck as I experience AI. If any of you have advice as far as heat checking methods, please comment! Thinking about AI-ing in July/August. :)

How about Highliner? His sire (the headliner) is a full brother to monopoly. I have heard that he works well on sim/angus cows
