Hooray!  Finally got the test results on the 7 Red Angus bulls we raised & sell semen on ... THEY'RE ALL OS FREE.  We're still waiting on the AM results but I expect them to be free also.  Just sent in blood samples on our two new herd bulls.

Congrats to you!  (clapping)

Now if the board of directors would step up and test their bulls..... but of course, they are the ones that stated in their magazine "just because an animal carries a genetic defect, doesn't mean the animal is defective...." and it was approved by the board.  Kinda allows you to connect a few dots huh.

Thanks.  Sometimes a pat on the back for doing the 'right thing' is really appreciated.  I hope all the small breeders follow & then, like show heifer said, the burden will be on the 'big guys'.  Because we have a closed herd & linebreed this should clear up the pedigrees on almost all of our females but we will still have them tested as the time & money come available.  And I sure won't bring in any outside line that isn't tested clean.
