very impressive set of females!! Only 1 questions tho, how can purebred herfs have roan colored hair to them? I am not a herf breeder by no means so maybe its the percentage thing coming to play. I really like all the herf lots, dont get me wrong.

Well, Bushy Park does not publish sale reports, but I followed this year's fall female sale pretty closely and purchased a bred heifer lot.   If this sale goes like that one I'd expect the open heifer lots to be on average north of $7,000.  Lot 36 certainly appears to be at least an average lot, so I would not hesitate to put her in the 7,000 to 9,000 range.   But, I've sure been wrong before....

This catalogue is a perfect example of how all breeds pretty much look the same now. It proves that if everyone keeps breeding for the same look soon or later everything will look the same.

Has anyone else seen the calves since they got to Oklahoma? I saw them yesterday and they looked as good or better than the catalog. I went to see Lots # 2 and # 20 along with checking out a few more.
    I found a few more that I liked as much or more including #21 another Monopoly , #23, 34, 38, plus the other Boomer X Eva's. Cory was real helpful and patient with my questions. He really knows his cattle and the current trends in the club calves. And also advised me on breeding options for my club/commercial herd.

I agree with gargan about them herf heifers!! The pedigree shows that they are as purebred as they get!!
