Byland Gold Spear and sons

Would anyone know if there is semen available on Byland Gold Spear. I know a bunch sold in the ArSuLu dispersion a few years back. Some of the really impressive cattle I've seen cataloged in Canadian sales this year go back to him. Shadybrook had individuals by DF Pure Gold and in a couple of sales last spring I noticed calves by Red Rose Gold Spear Ruffian and also Crooked Post Ranch had calves by sons also. Does anyone hold the US semen right to the Pure Gold bull? A search of the ASA site shows David Luett as an owner.

I remember being very impressed with the Byland Gold Spear sons in Ar Su Lu's pen of bulls back in the late 90's. We used him a little and had some grand daughters that are top producers. We have also used him ET and some sons from this mating were used successfully in Scotland. I did not find him to be a consistent sire but the top end was exceptional and I think there are sons and even linebred bred descendants of him that are more consistent now and definitely worth a look. CROOKED POST GRISSOM 24T, AR SU LU MASSIVE 3140, WAUKARU GOLD MINE 2109 and DF PURE GOLD 3N to name only a few.
