just dont get frustrated. get her to set them up right just a couple of times and then take off the halter and let her go. always end the session on a high note. but remember she knows no better and stay with her. like teaching a baby how to act

Instead of trying to set her feet with the Show Stick, use the halter.  Pay attention to her feet while walking, and slowly walk her into the correct stance.  When she stops exactly opposite, put just enough pressure pushing back on her halter to make her take just that one step.  Once she is used to stopping and backing the way you want, use the show stick to "fine tune".

get them to rock forward and back without moving their legs.  then progress to which leg you need to move by tilting the nose the opposite way.  does two things.  gets their foot to move back and it gets them to move it back wider.  release while the leg is in the air or sooner, the shorter distance you want them to move their foot.

try walking her into the right stance and then rewarding her, if she stops off keep starting and stopping till she sets up.
