first off i have worked for the man who raised her and her mother.... i havnt shown her big freaking whoop i dont want to show a brahman but the people who won the international show held in houston won with a heifer we called windy glenn cox raised her shown her and bred her. she stands a tom odens ranch in waskom texas go read a mag. and how would you know anything about me or what i do or what cows i pet for all you know i could own Express or King ranch. Glad you think you know me well enough to where you think you know what cows i pet. Hey did you pet the international GRAND champion red brahman female or see her calf the day it was born? doubt it.

and if you know anything about brahman you would know TO 4/8(aka windy) (thats right i would know her barn name bc i know where she sleeps every night) won the international title last year and my bf was the very first person to show her at idabelle where she won a division and the next weekend won greenville over dewight callis's son!!!! he still helps the man who run the brahman breed and has for 40 yrs and still continues to do so. its funny how yall all can talk trash to someone who breaks the calves that beat everyones ass. the man has this year reserve national red female leading the red bull standings for show bull of the year aka dozer and is going to continue winning bc they cant be beat

I know more about the brahman need then you ever will and I know dozer from kbar farms im not dumb
And you can just calm down because I was wanting to see which year you were talking about limmi

my calf has been walking fine for over a month and tonight when i gave her a pull on the halter ,she would throw her head down and wont walk

pull and hold and let them produce the slack.  think about how it feels if someone were doing this to you, kinda like some of the responses on this thread.  eventually you are going to get resistance if one can't find relief.

for some reason, it's really difficult for people to discover this method.  you can't release the pressure fast enough.  it's really depressing to see the culmination of drag and pull method reveal itself in the showring with the human trying to pull the calf and getting tapped on the rear and everyone focusing on that animal and shaking their heads rather than focusing on the class itself.  judges seem to be able to avoid this dilemma better than most.  to me, it makes me not want to look at the animal again unless it is really good.

Me either!  It was kinda like slowing down for a car crash on the highway.  You know you shouldn't do it, it's gonna be ugly and then you're embarrassed you did!  Yuck.

I will be glad too!!! I find it funny how you can tell these are young kids without looking at their profile just by reading their comments. I think text messaging has pretty much ruined these kids and the way they just can not spell or use any type of decent grammer...

at some point, adults for some reason, teach kids to worry more about how they look rather than how to look for things.

for some reason, children seem susceptible to this vice, and once hardened, is rarely softened.
