Cattle senses

After reading ZNT's post about safety with cattle, I remembered the question I kept thing of. i watched the movie Temple Grandin several times and I'm still amazed how she never got hurt when laying on the ground in the middle of the herd. I was wondering if maybe the cattle would have been able to sense that she was autistic or if it was just because she was calf that they were. Just looking for other people's thoughts on this.

Big difference in needing the cattle to be somewhere versus all of them knowing where you are and not asking them to move.

Whoops, in my post I have she is calf. Supposed to be calm.
