Does anybody know how the sale went? I meant to watch it but got busy fixing the water up on the farm. What was the average? And does anybody know what lots 3,5 and 6 went for? The  cattle looked good in the sale book.

If anyone knows or has a site to go and look, I was interested in the price of Red Blair's Fayette 8G919W. Don't know the lot # , but she is a Squall X Red Line Mulberry's Dam.

Thanks vcsf. I thought that those cattle may have brought more money.
I've just been watching from afar but there have been three sales in the last two days that have been down in prices. It has been VERY cold out there and looks like the economy is playing its part.

If the snow keeps getting deeper & the temps stay cold, there may be a chance to buy some bargains for us bargain hunters. I think that the Red Blair's Fayette was more than likely a bargain. JMO. I liked her pedigree.

Just finished watching the Hamilton Farms sale and there were alot of heifer calves in the 1800-2200 range and in years past it seemed that you had to have 3000 and up to get one.

We purchased the 3rd bull to sell and had no expectation at all that we would get him.
