We didn't place but I'm not bothered, I didn't want to leave him here anyway lol. I had fun and got to show at Fort Worth so I'm happy. I was in the first class of Angus. The judge definitely picked right as you walked in. Our stall was next to the overall reserve champion, he was fun to watch and the people with him were pretty nice. Here are some pictures. Oh and does anyone have any tips on slick shearing a calf? I'm off to San Angelo next week  ;)

Here are some pics of Harley just chilling in his stall

Here's us in the ring (I'm in the black shirt). I was the last one in line out of 26 I think.

I was trying to get a pic after the show but he was tired and didn't want to stand still.

Here's right after the show, I didn't have time to take a pic of him freshly fitted before hand.

It looks like you put a lot of work into him and did a great job presenting him. Congratulations and good luck at future shows!

Congrats! I am from MN and I wish our state fair would have some type of classification or DNA testing. We like to show in the Simmental steer class which officials rely on papers and honesty. Only need to be 1/2 blood but many of the animals are full blood club calves. This also happens in other breeds. Wish our state could do something to make the playing field more fair.

- after a year of Texas style you'll be looking for something new, after they toss a full blood calf for a clubby unintentionally of course

Congrats on putting your angus in the sale!! <party>
