I would love to hear about your calves out of him.  What size did they come, did he add or reduce frame, what do you like or dislike about them.  Give me the good and the bad.  Pics would be great!  Thanks for your time!

We have a couple and absolutely love them. They came real easy around 70-85 lbs. At first they arent much too look at but they come on real strong the older they get. Real sound and functional cattle. My partner had some last year and like them so much he bred around 75 head to him. I went and looked at his calves the other day and he has a real strong super complete set of Comfort Zones. I asked him why he decided to use so much CZ and he told me that he is the most consistent Maine bull he has used. He believes the replacement heifers out of CZ will super valuable.

I second that, only had one this year but came real easy. To be quite honest, I was disappointed in the calf when he got dried off....I even told Raymond that when he stopped by this spring. But then at about a month and a half old the calf just exploded. Thankfully he did in time for me to breed the dam back the same way. Ours was out of a I80 x Carnac female, added some frame/foot size. I think he will produce some great females and his steers will have the chance to excel in the Maine division, we'll use him plenty more. I posted this picture about a week ago but I'll include it here in case you didn't see.

Thanks to you both for the info.  I plan to use him next breeding season on a few cows.  How do you think he would work on a Jesse James heifer?

He should be fine on a JJ female. Will probably add a little grow as those JJ calves seem to be smaller framed.

She is a smaller framed calf.  I was hoping to use a heifer safe bull that would add some size so it sounds like Comfort Zone may fit the bill.  One thing about the JJ heifer that I love is her disposition.  She would have been great for a first time showman(she was born one day late for our fair!).  I just got done brushing her in the field.  She is the most laid back calf I've ever had.

I think you're right Mark.  Pretty sure that pic was on a post about Jesse James.
