I am thinking about breeding this cow to either Q-Dog, Money Shot or Salty Dog. I was just wanting to get some opinions on which one of these bulls any other bulls that might work best on her. She is a maine/angus cross out of Rapture. Thanks.....

I have not used them myself either, what I can tell you is that I have seen Q-dogs calfs at a sale and Money Shot calfs at some sales also. I have not seen any saltydog. I was disappointed in Q-dogs calfs and they were some of the lowest selling calfs in sales around here (Wyoming) that I have went to. I have seen some pretty decend Money Shot calfs that were nice. Just from what I have seen I like Money Shot and it looks like that cow is big framed, so I think Money Shot should work well for her. That is my pick out of those 3 bulls you like.

id breed her to walks alone if she was mine

I would also, have used Walk Alone and been extremely pleased with the steer we got out of him to a main/angus. He will definately add structure soundness and power with great hair. Walks Alone is also TH free and PHA free, a little bonus.  My walks Alone steer was a heavy birth weight (90lbs) but with how big that cow looks, she should be able to handle it.  That new bull at Denver this year (Believe In Me) is a full brother to Walks Alone that you can see video of on one of these recent posts.

she looks like a really nice cow, to be honest I wouldent go with any of the bulls you listed, I dont think they would do a cow like her justice. There's far better proven bulls out there...jmo.

I have seen some great walks alones and q dogs! The q dogs are much better slicking cattle the reason most guys north of the red river dont appreciate them due to not being hair type of steer. In saying that they have to be bred to the right cow need to be complete and such. For steers and heifers though on that cow I would consider irish whiskey or dejavu if she was mine. I have used both and they have worked well for us. All of come unassisted but like most need to be checked on...

I have seen the first set of Salty Dog calves this year and they were put on similar cows to the one pictured and they are looking really good. I thought I would provide a bit of insight on the issue. Good Luck!

If your trying for color why now use white eye or if you want to give an unproven bull a try I sure like how One and Only is bred lots of style and power in that pedigree being a heatwave X full attack which will have some full throttle if im not mistaken. Goodluck and great cow

I have to agree with Linnettejane, with a cow like that, if she clicks with the bull you are going to have a good one.
