Well, my daughter officially has her first calf, a heifer (I think she's a Who Made Who.)  She hasn't named her yet.  My 2 kids got to spend the afternoon today rinsing and blowing out 5 calves for my dad.  They had a ball.  My son (7 yrs old) walked through the door and told my wife that it was the best day of his life.  True, the kiddo has a tendency to lean towards the dramatic a bit, but they enjoyed themselves for sure.  Anyway, here's a couple pictures of her.

Of course she had to take a dump as soon as we quit blowing her out.  Anyway, I think we'll try to find one more heifer and a steer for her.  I think this heifer is a great place to start though.

That is a nice starter calf.  My daughter is a whopping 7 months old and I can't wait till she has her first calf....that is assuming she is interested (picture me praying!).

Looks like you have the beginnings of a great project for the kids.  I can only hope that when I have kids they will want to work with the cattle.

She's got some natural thickness & some eye appeal... looks like a good start to me.
