Thanks for the sale results Okotoks.Best of luck and good fortune with your purchase. I think you got real value!  It was interesting that you bought lot 10. The lots I picked to have a flutter on were 10 and 11. I ended up getting lot 11, the DF Waco x Butterfield Lady 13N. I thought it might be an interesting cross. What are your thoughts?  What do you plan to flush Lady 13N to?

If those embryos breed anything like the dam and maternal grand dam you should do well! We thought Butterfield Lady 13N was a very interesting female.(Actually Jaimie's purchase!) Phenotypically she is close to an ideal type and she has been breeding very succesfully. The dam's side has some Bodmin breeding similar to Bodmin HM Alberta Mark 71A and the sire's side has some of the best of the Butterfield lines. We are debating whether to flush her to The Grove Kookaburra or possiblly a little linebreeding and using Butterfield Fieldman 43F.

If I had secured that flush you got Okotoks I defo would have stayed old school and used one of the great older Eionmor bulls or maybe the Signature 19G bull that was at Alta Cedar. Maybe to be quirky how about the Australian bull Malton Zenith? I have a cow from him that is turning into a stunner. I'd say whatever you settle on yourself  will do the business.
