I think it is a mystery, been looking myself. I really liked him in Denver this past January, have a PB shorthorn cow bred to him now but not due till April 2013.

I don't think Talladega covered any cows at Duis' prior to him being sold on June 4, 2011. What may have happened is the gentlemen from Montana that purchased him already had everything bred by the time they got him back there. So he wouldn't have bred any cows until the fall of 2011, I would bet there will be some calves coming from him in the next couple of months.

I hope so, that bull has me more excited than I can ever remember. Even more excited than I was as a kid being a night before Christmas. I want to see this calf! That bull was very impressive in Denver as how thick he was. Then coming from a PB Shorthorn bull, I just could not get over how thick he was. He was thicker than most of the cross bred clubbies and had great hair. I'm sure his birth weight is real high and calving easy is really difficult cause he was like a big block of muscle. He is bred to a mature large framed Shorthorn cow of mine, even being a large cow, she will be under a close eye come the 1 st week in April next spring.

We are excited about him too, won't have any calves out of him in the next year, but hopefully we can AI a couple cows to him next fall. We have a full sib heifer to him that we are showing this fall and winter we are excited about too. Talladega's dam is one of the most impressive females I've seen

When I was out to Bob's this early summer he had 2 full brothers to DF Talladega and  DF Tuscaloosa.  I thought they were tremendous then, might even be better know.
If some one is looking for a bull bred like Tuscaloosa or Talleagega give Bob a call.
