Had a notice on Facebook to check out this sale.  Very impressive heifer lineup.  No idea what type of pocketbook it takes to assemble a lineup like that to offer for sale, but it looks as if the current bidding would make the owners very proud!  Congrats in advance!

There was some serious money spent on that sale last night.

I was thinking the same thing. Some big time money spent in that sale, all the way around! I finally went to bed at 10, and the bidding was still open (was set to close at 7 my time)!!

Equally interesting is that bidder number 4015 bought both the Lot1 heifer at the low, low bargain basement price of 73,500 and the Lot23 heifer for the low price of 51,500.  Be interesting to see how these cattle end up.  Seems like there's always plenty of players come out of the sale.  IIRC that's where the Bloomburg heifer from a few years ago sold out of.  Wonder if Paulson doesn't sell these on partnership or something.  Just not sure how it works.  At any rate, I would agree that Paulson has to be very happy with the way everything sold.  Congrats.
