good job ohbreeder.  seriously.  every one, including cnn,  i checked this morning did not mention the party.  checking now, they run about 80% mentioning the party.  again, the principle, is that in general, the media does not mention the democrat as early and often as the republican, not just the snapshot of this instance, late in the afternoon.

Would Al Franken have enough money to buy into this seat if they don't have an election?

And to think our next President is from Illinios. Wow. Makes ya think how he got elected???

Anyway, to my fellow Illini friends: Now what are ya going to do? Let the mob find ya another governor? Senator?

believe it or not, none of this bothers me.  it's up to the voters.

i found this interesting.

Then there's the 18 million vacant dwellings, of which some 4 million are listed as vacation rentals.

yet the state of CA has a mandate to build homes.  see lots of empty commercial buildings, houses etc.

basically, costs should go down, and eventually salaries as well as adjustment sets in .

What else are we supposed to do?  There aren't enough people that don't live in big cities.  The Democratic Machine in Chicago is too powerful for us to beat or compromise with.

politics is really local.  it's all about local development around cities by developers who buy land cheap, get it rezoned, use state growth mandates to build houses, bullet trains, pretty much everything. if you focus business around building houses and you don't need houses, pretty soon, your equity is at risk, you create a bedroom community.  far better to develope a broad based economy not beholden to anyone group.  as simple as it sounds and was used as the foundation of this country, distribution of power is the way to beat it.  when the machine comes knocking, as soon as you take money from them, your are done and only the incremental speed is the difference.
