so i was wondering if i could use a regular blower hose and take off the pointed part at the end and attach it to my bigger double blower hose. so that way it would be a longer 6 foot blower hose extension part. so instead of using a 6 foot extension from Sullivan could i just use my old single blower hose and take the pointed part off?
i hope y'all understand what im saying. trying to re word things lol.
thanks!

I wouldn't. I know people who do but if you talk to any of the dealers they say they build up extra heat and the extra resistance will cause motor bearings and seals to fail earlier. Why would you want to when the longer that restrictive 1.5 inch hose is the less volume of air you will have.

I've melted a Y pipe sleeve running 2 blowers on the small hose.  They get HOT!
