A quick run down- haven't had a chance to go through the whole sale yet.

96 of 108 bulls sold for an 89% clearance, averaged just over $5500, with a top price of $27,000.

Top price bull was Belmore Osh Kosh, by The Grove Kookaburra W735 from a Narralda Vandal daughter.

Grand champion bull was Nero Lock Eye Popper, which was also the interbreed Urquhart Trophy winner at Sydney Royal in April.

Other division champion winners were from Glen Huon, Belmore and Nero, with reserve champions to Trojon, SPJ, Belmore and Nagol Park.

I will have to say that of the ones pictured in your Shorthorn Beef magazine , he was my pick. Some of the other bulls may be better than their pic, just not very good pics.
In the same magazine , on page 28 is a pic of a cow/calf pair that I think is one good looking cow.

tdu, here are  some pictures of Osh Kosh and his dam. You probaably have more current pictures . Osh Kosh certainly looks like he is the type of bull we need to be mass producing in the beef industry. He is soft made, thick and structurally sound. he appears to have great feet and legs and in my opinion, his dam looks like a cow should that produces serious herd bulls. He certainly was my pick from the Dubbo sale catalog, and there was lots of good looking bulls on offer. I also likde Osh Kosh;s color being a strawberry roan with no white markings.

haha, I believe I sent these pics to a couple of people recently :)

Juliet - his dam -  is a top, top cow. Just beautiful. And every calf she breeds is a good one. I love these types of roans :)

One of my neighbours says that he only needs one more loan to be a millionaire. You want to be a billionaire? Man you are brave!

Actually, if you and I were blessed with all kinds of money rather than just good looks.... it could be a bit scary!  haha

Belmore sure had a great sale! Andy must be pleased (thumbsup)

I'm still trying to reach him on cloud 9 :p Averaged just under $11,000 for 8 bulls.... not bad hey
Actually, I am divided between OshKosh and Old Faithfull.

No competition for me. But then, I guess I have the advantage of having seen both bulls, their sires, and their dams, in the flesh :)
Osh Kosh is going to do some great things I hope.

The other really good bull in that team was Olympia - now there is a heifer bull, packed with performance
