Magnificent, consistent set of bulls in my opinion.  If any breeder can't find a suitable bull in this group he doesn't know what he wants!

Do either of you guys know much about these cattle?  For some reason they just showed up on my radar last year and I missed the sale in Denver.  I do know that I will be looking them up in Denver this year and just wanted to hear what the general consensus is.  What did the sale numbers from last year look like?  Any info would be appreciated.

Not much other than that they are uniform, commercially orientated and predominantly red/dark roan.  I have put my money on them and am using genetics (JSF Gauge 137W) from the herd on the other side of the world.  His ASA Spring 2013 figures look impressive and are backed up by 50 tested progeny!  Used 24 doses on 24 October but have subsequently observed two cows repeating, although I am not resident on the farm so it is probably higher!

Alot of the bulls run around 5,000.........I've threatened to buy a buy a bull there but haven't yet. They probably range from 2,500 -20,000.

Thank you, and thank you AJ.  I searched on here and was able to pull up some sale numbers from last year.  Can't wait to see them in Denver.

They looked pretty awesome up at Derek's female sale this fall and they were soaked from the snow. I can only imagine that they will look even more impressive come Denver when they have been getting worked on a consistent basis.

One recommendation is to get there early because the pen is usually swamped with bidders and it is easier to get a good look at the bulls with fewer people in the pens.

If memory serves me right I believe the avg was around $4400 last year on roughly 50 bulls with the high seller bringing $22,500 or $22,250. Someone correct my numbers if I'm not accurate.

38 looked interesting to me also. I try not to look at pictures cause they almost look different in person.

I didn't say anything about that calves picture in my original comment, but now that you mention it...I do like the looks of the picture as well.  I do agree that you can't always tell a bunch from just a picture.  Wish I could make it out there.  He seems pretty interesting going back to revamp on his mommas side.  These Red Demands look to be real maternal beef type cattle.  I will know more here in another month or so, should have a Red Demand around these parts to pick on out of a pretty cool heifer that a friend got from Derek recently.

Wow! Looks like a great set of bulls! Just from a quick look at the catalog I like 17, 22, 24, 38, 42, 54, and 58. Should be an awesome sale. Best of luck to JSF.

Lot 5 interest me. I am using some Gus this year and am hoping for possible clean up/herd bull if I can get one to cut the mustard. Very small herd still got be reasonable with my goals but I would be happier than pig in poop if I got one with his qualifications.
