Some shows dont allow painting or dying. Read your guidlines before you do anything. I would put vitamin E cream on it 2x a day it will help repair the skin and encourage hair growth. And if it really comes down to it when you clip her for the show glue some of the hair to the spot. I know it sounds silly but thats what they did when my mom showed! Good luck!!

We leave for the show in 2 days and we just dont want people seeing the spots and saying something even thought its dead.
We though about glueing hair on but we have a porfessional fitter and clipper so we dont know what he would think about it.
But thankyou for the reply!!!

If you are headed to a major show, painting in the Angus isn't allowed at all. And I am sure that no shows enjoy people putting hair to cover it. Dye it. Lotion it at the show. Skin will need to be hydrated to absorb anything, anyway. And, you won't be the first person to show up at a show with hide showing. Cattle get things, they rub, they are animals:) Good luck at the show, BTW!

Mix some sheen and a little dye and dye the whole heifer, you don't want one spot that is a darker black spot next to a lighter color. 2-3 boxes should do it. Good Luck.

There is this stuff called MTG (Mane, Tail, Groom), it helps grow hair in spots like that, it probably won't grow it that fast but will start to grow hair in about a week. It's a horse product but I use it on cows, horses and dogs. It's amazing stuff! I will even use it on my show cattle where I want more hair or if their tail is a little thin.  A lot of shows don't want you to put anything that colors a cow that will wipe off, like paint.  But I know a lot of people who show all different breeds that dye cows, just make sure you dye it smoothly if you do so it's not spotty. Good luck!
