farrer stock farms Sale

Anyone go to Farrers Sale?  Just wondering if anyone had results of the steer sale and how was the quality .

I don't have exact numbers, but I think the top 5 or 6 steers averaged $4,000 to $5,000 each. Good heifer offering as well, but they didn't seem to attract the same money. I thought there were several good females that sold for very reasonable prices.

How did the Hardline calves look.

I thought they looked pretty good. I personally thought the steers were better than the heifers, but not by much. He was used on a lot of different types of cows. It will be interesting to see if any of these calves filter to the top at the Hoosier Beef Congress in early December.

what did lots 014, 915, and 09 bring?
