Favorite bulls for club calf mamas?

I've read many past threads but I'm curious what people are using today as their base animals. I have purebred Angus, was planning to breed to another purebred (sim, maine, shorthorn, etc) to make halfbloods which would then be bred clubby. Anyone have recommendations? Have a few straws of Chill Factor in the tank but really want to use sexed semen. Would love to hear your recommendations, conventional and old options welcome too.

I honestly think One & Only is underrated for making club calf cows. We used him for several years on TH Carrier cows and from the ones that we have made replacements with he has improved udder quality and made them a good size for real production. The calves have some grow to them and match well with todays club calf bulls. Throws a good percentage of baldies and will make them sound with power.

In our experience, breeding purebred angus cows back to club calf bulls works out very well.  We use proven bulls about 90% of the time.

The other factor is that you need to have is good cows, doesn't matter what breed they are, they just need to be good.
