Feed recommendations

My calf is weighing around 7-750. He looks great but I am worried  that he will be way to big. Fair is going to be end of July. Got him on fitters edge. Would like to slow him down without him losing anything.  Any suggestions on change of feed or how much I should feed him to slow him down. I just bought him so I really don't know how much he has been eating per day
