It really all depends on your relationship, what kinda ties they have with the calf, and how much of the work they are going to be doing.  If they are doing everything from feeding, washing, blowing, clipping, glueing etc then its more expensive than if its just a blow and go and you are doing all the work and they are just clippin em up for you.
If it is just a blow and go and you do the washing and blowing and they just have to clip then I have seen em as cheap as $20-$30 a head plus expenses.  If it is a major and they can use adhesives and you have em doing all the work you can look at expenses plus upwards of $100 a head sometimes.  It all depends on the circumstance, the fitter, etc.

Very true! I've charged as little as $20/head to clip and up to $100/head to fit at a major. Hiring someone to work for you and do everything for the week of the show will usually run $100-$150/day plus all expenses.

I have talked to a couple of them about trimming her up a few days before a local show if we was to washed/dry her and was told it would be anywhere from $75 to $125.00.  So basically it will vary with the fitters and based on what your looking for them to do.

Thanks

Yeah $100-150 a day at a major for fitting and everything plus expenses. I charge a little less but that's average.

Where are you located and how far are your fitters coming? Does that rate a flat rate or do you have to pay that plus travel expenses.  If you had her washed and blown and all I had to do was clip on her then it wouldnt cost anywhere near $75 I dont think, unless I was traveling a long way to get there.
