Do you want Angus genetics or Sim or Maine? There are a lot of ways to go,with about any breed you want. The Steel Force Simmental blood works great on Ohlde Angus genetics, but it is 250.00 per straw. Maybe CHOPPER[Steel Force son] would work for you. Jacee's Ramblin Fever [Angus] is a five year old bull that has not been promoted until recently. He has been used on OCC cows with tremendous results. He is owned by Dan May of Stillwater, Okla. The bull is currently leased to McCurry Brothers in Kansas. This bull produces excellent "show cattle".He is now being used by some prominent club calf producers as he clicks with Simmys and Maines.Contact Dan May of Stillwater, Okla 405 880 1309 or John Anderson of Lancaster, Wisc. 608 723 2067 for semen. If you want to see the bull in pasture condition, go to Cattle in Motion .com and click on video's. then click on Jacee's Ramblin Fever.Click on video to enlarge and you can see him and some of his daughters that are Angus and Simmy.... Thanks and good luck.

If you want to make sim x angus replacements, then try to find some Meyer 734 semen.  It seems to have leveled off in price in recent sales.

Simmi- Macho he is pretty reasonablely priced and accessible
Maine- Chill Factor makes nice cross females
Hannibal on those type females makes them pretty to look at but I am not sure how they are for cows

I like the Who Made Who suggestion.  Should get pretty good steers/bulls and excellent heifers.

Can you still get Ramblin Fever 303R Semen for $15/straw at SEK Genetics?  Also, what breeders have used him on Ohlde cows, as we have quite a bit of Ohlde genetics?

Thanks,

bullbarn.com has Jacee's Ramblin Fever 303R listed among their Black Angus sires.  They have a picture of him when he was younger, epd's, pedigree, and semen price @$15.00/straw.

Semen on Jacee's Ramblin Fever is 30.00 per straw,up to 20 straws. Over 20 straws the price is 20.00 per straw. His semen was 15.00 for a time,as an introductionery price.Success and demand has caused the price to increase,as with any bull.To answer the question about who uses OHLDE bloodlines on Simmy's......Sunset View Farms has at least purchased cows from the Power Plus sale of Duff cattle co. I think[don't quote] they have purchased Anchor/6807 daughter to use with Steel Force,Star Power and others.

Late to the party.
Rambling Fever is a great bull.
Ever see Dan May's other bull, Jacee's Walker?  By BC Marathon.  I have a coming 2 year old heifer due in about a month I bought directly from Dan May by Walker out of a Eblazon x Beefmaker cow.  I lover her.
