Mental Feng Shui

ONE. Give people more than they expect and do it cheerfully.

THREE. When you say, 'I love you,' mean it.

FOUR. When you say, 'I'm sorry,' look the person in the eye.

FIVE. Be engaged at least six months before you get married.

ELEVEN. Talk slowly but think quickly.

TWELVE .. When someone asks you a question you don't want to answer, smile and ask, 'Why do you want to know?'

THIRTEEN. Remember that great love and great achievements involve great risk.

FOURTEEN. Say "bless you" when you hear someone sneeze.

FIFTEEN. When you lose, don't lose the lesson.

SIXTEEN. Remember the three R's: Respect for self; Respect for others; and Responsibility for all your actions.

SEVENTEEN. Don't let a little dispute injure a great friendship.

EIGHTEEN. When you realize you've made a mistake, take immediate steps to correct it.

Woman  and a Fork

There  was a young woman who had been diagnosed with a terminal illness  and had been given three months to live. So as she was  getting her things 'in order,' she contacted her Pastor and  had him come to her house to discuss certain aspects of her  final wishes. She told him which songs she wanted sung at  the service, what scriptures she would like read, and what  outfit she wanted to be buried in.

Everything was in  order and the Pastor was preparing to leave when the young woman  suddenly remembered something very important to her.

There's one more thing, she said excitedly.

What's that? came the Pastor's reply.

This is very important, the young woman  continued . I want to be buried with a fork in my right  hand.

The Pastor stood looking at the young woman, not  k nowing quite what to say.

That surprises you, doesn't  it? the young woman asked.

Well, to be honest, I'm  puzzled by the request, said the Pastor.

The young woman  explaine d. My grandmother once told me this story, and from  that time on I have always tried to pass along its message  to those I love and those who are in need of encouragement.  In all my years of attending socials and dinners, I always  remember that when the dishes of the main course were being  cleared, someone would inevitably lean over and say, 'Keep  your fork.' It was my favorite part because I knew that  something better was coming...like velvety chocolate cake or  deep-dish apple pie. Something wonderful, and with  substance!

So, I just want people to see me there in  that casket with a fork in my hand and I want them to  wonder, what's with the fork? Then I want you to tell them:  Keep your fork, the best is yet to come.

The Pastor's  eyes welled up with tears of joy as he hugged the young woman good-bye. He knew this would be one of the last times he  would see her before her death. But he also knew that the  young woman had a better grasp of heaven than he did. She  had a better grasp of what heaven would be like than many  people twice her age, with twice as much experience and  knowledge. She KNEW that something better was  coming.

At the funeral people were walking by the young  woman's casket and they saw the cloak she was wearing and the  fork placed in her right hand. Over and over, the Pastor  heard the question, What's with the fork? And over and over he smiled.

During his message, the Pastor told  the people of the conversation he had with the young woman  shortly before she died. He also told them about the fork  and about what it symbolized to her. He told the people how he  could not stop thinking about the fork and told them that  they probably would not be able to stop thinking about it  either.

He was right. So the next time you reach down for  your fork let it remind you, ever so gently, that the best  is yet to come. Friends are a very rare jewel, indeed. They  make you smile and encourage you to succeed. They lend an ear, they share a word of praise, and they always want to open  their hearts to us.

Show your friends how much you  care. Remember to always be there for them, even when you  need them more. For you never know when it may be their time to  Keep your fork. Cherish the time you have , and the memories you share.

Being  friends with someone is not an opportunity but a sweet  responsibility. Send this to everyone you  consider a FRIEND even if it means sending back to the person who sent it to you.

And keep your fork.

If God brings you to it - He will bring you through it!

(this actually had corresponding pictures with each food, if you want the originial, pm me your email and ill forward it....takes too long to save the pics in a file then upload)

God left us a great clue as to what foods help what part of our body!

God's Pharmacy! Amazing!

A sliced Carrot looks like the human eye. The pupil, iris and radiating lines look just like the human eye... and YES, science now shows carrots greatly enhance blood flow to and function of the eyes.
A Tomato has four chambers and is red. The heart has four chambers and is red. All of the research shows tomatoes are loaded with lycopine and are indeed pure heart and blood food.
Grapes hang in a cluster that has the shape of the heart. Each grape looks like a blood cell and all of the research today shows grapes are also profound heart and blood vitalizing food.
A Walnut looks like a little brain, a left and right hemisphere, upper cerebrums and lower cerebellums.  Even the wrinkles or folds on the nut are just like the neo-cortex. We now know walnuts help develop more than three (3) dozen neuron-transmitters for brain function.
Kidney Beans actually heal and help maintain kidney function and yes, they look exactly like the human kidneys.
Celery, Bok Choy, Rhubarb and many more look just like bones. These foods specifically target bone strength. Bones are 23% sodium and these foods are 23% sodium. If you don't have enough sodium in your diet, the body pulls it from the bones, thus making them weak. These foods replenish the skeletal needs of the body.
Avocadoes, Eggplant and Pears target the health and function of the womb and cervix of the female - they look just like these organs. Today's research shows that when a woman eats one avocado a week, it balances hormones, sheds unwanted birth weight, and prevents cervical cancers. And how profound is this?  It takes exactly nine (9) months to grow an avocado from blossom to ripened fruit. There are over 14,000 photolytic chemical constituents of nutrition in each one of these foods (mo dern science has only studied and named about 141 of them).
Figs are full of seeds and hang in twos when they grow. Figs increase the mobility of male sperm and increase the numbers of Sperm as well to overcome male sterility.
Sweet Potatoes look like the pancreas and actual ly bal ance the glycemic index of diabetics.
Olives assist the health and function of the ovaries
Oranges, Grapefruits, and other Citrus fruits look just l ike the mammary glands of the female and actually assist the health of the breasts and the movement of lymph in and out of the breasts.
Onions look like the body's cells. Today's research shows onions help clear waste materials from all of the body cells. They even produce tears which wash the epithelial layers of the eyes. A working companion, Garlic, also helps eliminate waste materials and dangerous free radicals from the body.
