Good job! I was probably watching you, and didn't even know it. I was sitting on the angus side though.

I placed 6 out of 8 with my hereford heifer, we were in the next to the last class. She did better last year as a younger heifer.

My daughter got 4th  out of 18 in her class with her Charolais.  I sure am tired today and have a god awful sore throat.  We had a great time, just had a hard time getting the heifer to eat.  She ate a lot of hay and drank really well, just would not eat her grain.  It really took a toll on the way she looked, she could have looked better I think.

I got to meet Sawboss, but did not get a chance to meet Mrs. Sawboss.  Between my daughter getting a really bad cold and the heifer not eating we did not get over to the Sawboss's barn to visit with them.

My daughter was in the 2nd class, class 122.  It was the one where Haley Dennis won the class.  I sure did like that Charolais heifer that Haley had, we did not stay but I bet that she at least won her  division with that heifer.

A kid from my town (Henrietta) won the Simi's (at least that's what I was told yesterday).  If its the heifer I know of she was a red Dream On raised by the kid's family up in OK.

The Jr. Angus show started at 1:00 pm on Sunday, my oldest son was in class 8 with a January '08 and placed 9 out of 21.  It was announced that it was the largest Jr. Angus show in the nation, other than the Angus Jr. Nationals.  The quality ran very deep in all classes, hence the time it took to sift through and place them.  We did not stay to watch the end results, but it should be posted on the Fort Worth Stock Show web page under results.
