There are exceptions to every rule Telos. Exceptions, but not the rule.
I guess we, like most of America, are going to have to agree to disagree on this issue. Fair enough?

Ma'am, the people Telos mentioned, and I have mentioned, are the rule. The crap you're talking about is the exception. If you don't want Illegalls working in Iowa, go to the Pork Plant and apply. Keep an Illegal out of the work force. You might look cute in a hairnet and rubber boots  ;)

rule here is ...half a million people run out of unemployment/insurance benifits over the next 2 months.....
exception here...are employers, large or small , who refuse to pay into workers state  comp insurance/ matching federal social security/ and federal unemployment taxes, for "every" employee....thats the crap we're talking about....hard to tell where the most serious injustice is at...the illegal laborers or the folks that exploit them....
you keep letting us know where these places are at ...and maybe we can see if we cant fill some hair nets with some legals citizenss, and southwest politics and small bussinesscan start contributing its fair share ....jbarl

let's all be realistic. It is what it is. Let's do something to stop it in the future. Asking someone for their drivers license when they get pulled over is not unreasonable. IT'S THE LAW!!!! IN ALL 50 STATES!!!!

climbin' over the fence and tryin to live here is illegal too....now the local/county/and state police  can do there job( finally)  just let them pick em' right off the fence......thats not profiiling....thats  just  arresting everyone who cllimbs over the fence...??  no different than the sheriff/state police knowing where all the bars are and protecting us and the higways in those areas " extra good"..??  who are they profiling??>....and why would they deserve somekind of exclusion from the enforcement of the drunk driving laws and the saftey of the citizens ??....jbarl

jbarl, That's a very good analogy in my opinion. I know there is a lot of people that have received dui's, 1/2 a mile from their favorite watering hole that feel like they have been profiled.
Show heifer has made some good points also. If they are here illegaly then they are breaking the law & if you are hiring them you are also.

identity theft is not tracked as good as it could, but could be easily by e-verification and other tools.  since local law enforcement doesn't check legal status, the crime by illegals is underreported especially in areas largely latino or those that support them such as san francisco which is a sanctuary city.

the best way to lie is with statistics.
Check into 287(g). After local law enforcement has been certified, then, they can ask for, and inspect documents for authenticity.

Yes, but, You have to have a reason for pulling a motorist over (crooked Lisence Plate, cracked windshield, fake/out-of-date tags, etc.). Not "driving while Latino". That's the sticky issue.
