We just brought our calves home, they look good, a couple of them have had very little human contact so they are pretty heads up and looking for an escape, and the other one is a little more laid back then I would like to see so we are watching him for sickness.

So when you haul calves a long distance when you get them home do you treat them with Nuflor or anything like that?  We are going to this year just in case, but I just wonder if it is a waste of the med if they are not showing any signs of sickness.

Also how long do you wait until you start breaking them? We normally let them settle for a couple days sometimes more if they are a little more scared then normal.

Thanks!!

Let them settle first and get used to the new surroundings, but in the mean time....take some pics.  ;)
