How are the calves as they mature? I've seen quite a lot of mixed reviews. I'm using him on my Sim Angus heifer and would like to see how others thought of his calves.
Thanks

They're thick and deep.  Some get a little more shoulder and front than youd like,  but overall they're good.

We really like them. Have never had calving problems, and now have one in production and she is super! Calves come small for us, and vigorous. Our Grandmaster calves are very showy, and we seem to have a lot of heifers out of him.
Pictured is a Grandmaster heifer that my daughter showed last year. She did well, but tended to be on the smaller size compared to her contemporaries. She is now big as a two year old, weighed over 1200 pounds at her last weigh in. She calved a few days ago, and is pictured with her calf, a Movin Forward heifer calf that weighed 70 pounds. Grandmaster heifer did it all on her own, came home from work and there she was nursing her calf. She has a perfect udder, could not be happier. Pair would be great to show, but our daughter is getting ready for college so she has no real interest in showing a pair this year, with all the work involved.

He will be my go to heifer bull for years.  Small, hearty, vigorous calves. They are not always mind blowers for the first few months but then they come on. Probably the best heifers we have on the ranch.
