Another friend of mine used Nutt-Butt a few years ago.  He kept three females back out of him.  One ended up winning a market heifer show.  Anyways he has not had good luck with them as cows.  Maybe it was a fluke deal as these are the only three I have been around.  They have nice calves, they just don't milk the best...

In case you fella's don't know, the Strictly Bussiness bloodlines have very poor milking abilities. That has been a foregone conclusion for a lot of years. Kind of like the Double Stuff, Double Vision deal. Most Stuff heifers and cows that have been good enough to keep milk fairly well, and almost all Double Visions milk rather poorly if at all. Both bloodlines are great for producing great phenotype for show cattle ,but have limit6ed use for cows.

I like many of the Strictly Business cattle, but also knew how poorly they milk. It was in the back of my mind that the simmental in back of Ground Zero would improve the milking ability. I had also heard once that the Nut- n-Butt Buisness cattle could have some structure problems. There is a third Business son out of a simmental cow, that is Buisness Done Right, don't know much about him. My idea was to choose the best one. Which one is it?

I was sure going to use Business Done Right when he first came out, but was told that they can extremely strait up front, so I backed off of him. I had also been told that The Strictly business cows, @ best, were hit and miss as far as milking is concerned, but some are good. I think some of the Nutt-N-Butt Business cows can be strait off of their hind wheels and possibly could use some flank in'em. I think if I had to pick one, it would be Ground Zero and hope that the jack wouldn't stay too warmed up. Brent
