I've got a good lookin angus heifer without any "fancy" breeding or anything. I'd like to know how to get more hair on her. I tried cooling rooms, night turnout, grooming constantly, and keeping her cool. Nothing seems to help! :-\ if any of you have any advice I'd appreciate it!!

She may just not carry the hair gene, I have had several calves that no matter how much work, how cold, what supplements you tired. They would never grow hair!

Ya hair genes play a big part. some times if you brush wash and blow enough, you can get hair, but genes are the real factor. Unfortunately angus heifers of no special breeding almost never have hair.
