Thanks frosty!  I am certainly going to try!  We finally got more rain in the night so my level of anxiety of drought has dropped, at least for a few days. Hope you have a great Canada Day as well!

I was wondering if Canada has any statues and if so, are they still standing?  Did Canada have any noteworthy folks with statues that have been now deemed imperfect?  Did they call out the Royal Canadian Mounted Police to guard the statues on Canada Day or are they just relying on a community betterment group for protection?  I'm sure there's a garden club somewhere that would be willing to bring their rakes and hoes to quell any uprising.

Yes Canada has statues that are being damaged or destroyed by these idiots. They are the same idiots you have in the US and some are members of Antifa. The RCMP aren't doing much to stop this from happening. We are having the same Defund the Police marches and rallies as the major American cities are seeing.  The Calgary Police Service recieved a request from the leaders of a Defund the Police rally. They asked for an increased police presence at their rally to provide protection to those who attended. What idiots. In the UK, the same thing is happening, and they have passed a law which says anyone who is caught damaging a national monument of any kind gets a 10 year prison sentence.

Pretty extreme stuff and I would have to agree the hypocracy of defunding the police then demanding they create a protective presence at the protest is the entitled yuppy me generation on steroids-I mean As of yet-I didnt envision Canada with functionally illiterate fat ass wanna be  warriors brandishing guns cuz Taliban War Camels have purportedly been seen in some thousand acre field in Saskatoon etc- LIKE THE ONES SUPPOSEDLY SPOTTED NEAR BEATRICE NEBRASKA-or a Rap second generation of baby mommas getting a larger check each month for each child who's destiny it is to help overcrowd the prison system - Is fathers day also the most confusing day in Montreal too LOL? Things are happening too fast O0

Im talking about the embarrassingly stupid people this side of the border Paranoid vigilante wanna be losers located in some of the safest areas of the continent 1500 miles from nowhere imagining some sort of civil war against the crazy terrorists from 15000 miles away in some desert compound Now they are surely infiltrating and hiding just down the road -Dont forget potential armed conflict and self defense against the commies in Washington or where ever who are against guns and dont have them O0

LOL..... It's funny the way life works  ;D  I read some of the jibberesh people post on here and I have to laugh.  People talking down about people from different walks of life, as if they can. Expressing political views on a website named "Steer planet".  Go to your local city council, town hall meeting or wherever else you can cause it's useless on here.  It's easy to talk on the web with your thumbs.  LOL You reap what you sow.  Most of the people on here should know that.  Then have the audacity to hollar Republican vs. Democrat.  Left vs. Right.  Ya'll are reading and watching, but apparently not the right stuff.  We all buy the same oil, use the same currency and pay taxes to the same entities.  LOL I know we all have opinions but this is too funny.

Thats the idea I thought 15 people who believed the world was going to end then go out and take over the US in short order was pretty funny Then in thier might the local cops hauled them in That was funny to me-  among other things-smart wasnt one of them Demanding the police protect and keep order at a demonstration to defund them is along the same lines just different voters O0

I for one enjoy reading people's opinions on this site on topics other than cattle.  If a specific thread does not interest me, I just don't read it.  Cattle do not occupy 100% of my time or thinking.  Like it or not, the political arena plays a vital role in our cattle operations.  Up until the very recent ag Covid-19 program, there have been very, very few USDA programs with cattle producers in mind.  Maybe that's not all bad, but grain farmers have been almost overrun with government programs for decades.  I had hoped JIT would let us know what's going on in Canada.  I think it's extremely important to stay involved with what's going on in the world on topics other than which bull carries genetic defects.  By the way, my wife told me the other night that the Wizard of Oz is going to eliminate the scarecrow.  They decided he would upset too many people that didn't have a brain.
