mashowcattle,

We found out about the Florida Cattlemen Show after we had already put about two months of work into it... and we had checked all the channels we knew to check.... We are really bummed about it.... :(....  We even moved the date from January to December because we were asked to because of county fairs...

We would have moved it off the Cattlemen Show if we could have.

And, If you were in the running for the points you would not want to miss it since this is the last show of the series.

Either way they are two great chances to show!

Back to the Hardee County Show, we are really excited the entries are coming in and it looks like we will have a couple of breed shows in addition to the 5 divisions.

Check in is both Friday and Saturday!  And don't forget Adult showmanship!  It is a chance to give your Mom or Dad pointers in the ring...  ;D

;D It is shaping up to be a really good event ... the community has really gotten behind it!  And we are really excited to have a top quality judge coming in from out of state.

I have attached the show poster.

I will be putting on the clinic at the Preview Show.  It will be a short clinic about an hour long... I will be providing a handout to everyone that will go into more detail.

P.S. I enjoyed your Hair Growth 101 post... Most folks do not understand the work that goes into a show animal.  The week before a show just does not cut it...

I just talked to the cooperative and the entries are really starting to come in.... But there have been a bunch of calls because of the holiday....

Here is what they just sent me...

The entries for the PRECO Preview Show are due and to avoid a late fee, if you'd fax your entry to 866-599-2995 or drop it in the PRECO drive-in window before Friday, the late fee will be waived.  Please send your check in the mail as soon as you fax the entry, or include it when you drop it off at the PRECO office, so we can get it processed.  We're looking forward to the show and it'll be a good weekend.

Have a Merry Christmas!

Just in...

We have enough Angus for a Breed Show.... Division 3A .... And we almost have enough Brangus for a Breed Show which would become 1A.

Both of these would join in the running for Supreme Grand Champion and Reserve Supreme Grand Champion Heifer and Bull!

They are still doing this as well....
