i know a few that are running them. i looked into getting some but was told to wait because sullivan's was back ordered with andis and that andis was modifying them. from what i understand they will come in silver and pink now and the cord is being adjusted. the people i talk to love them but i guess they will run you about $200.

Andis had to stop shipping and re-do the cords. They had a small box type plug. These boxes were, to say the least, very prone to breaking. Everyone, that is using them, loves them. The grip is the most talked about feature. Would love to see the old 2 speed with the newly designed grip for less money.

yeah the box plug isn't the most durable thing ever. the cords on the first run were pretty stiff too so hopefully they've got something a little softer in this next batch. overall an outstanding clipper

Does anyone know how to tell if a unit has the new cord or power adapter?
I just picked up two pair of the black and silver clippers and what to make sure they have new cord before I use them.
The box shows item # 63205 and model SMC.  I was told they just came in but they don't have a manufacturing date that I can see

Thanks!
