Heifer Synchronization Protocols

I am wondering what different protocols breeders are using on their heifers for timed AI?  I am in college and will be having an internship this summer so am looking to synch our heifers to service them before I leave for my internship. Let me know what works well for you or would be a good protocol to use on Shorthorn heifers.
