I have a group of 8 cows I CIDR'd.  Pulled CIDR's on Monday night (about 84 hrs ago).  Had 4 come in heat and bred them already.
I am not really crunched for time so am wondering if I should time breed them today and give Cystorelin, or just wait for the others to come in the next few days and breed on real heats?

We waited for real heats last year and had 3 finally stand at 5 days post CIDR pull (everything else stood at 24-72 hours).  2 of the 3 stuck.  The one that did not had been sick all spring with a big abcess under her ear that popped a week before we installed CIDRs.

On a CIDR program I fin the ideal time to fixed time AI (breed without heat) is 54-56 hours, since you are out of that window I would watch for natural heats. If they do not come in soon give them PGF and they should come into heat in 2-5 days post injection.

Thanks!  I had one more come around and bred her this morning.  When should the other 3 "non-responders" come around again?
Pulled those CIDR'S and gave estrumate on Monday (the 16th).  21 days from Monday I assume?
