Manna Pro's Calf Manna is a good supplement to get them to eat, and is comparable to Show Bloom.  It smells really sweet.  We used it on pigs and steers.  The last 2 yrs. we have fed Stabilized Rice Bran meal.  The calves love it.  It is a fat supplement.

The rice bran is made by many companies, most feed stores will have it just like they have corn..

Try putting a scoop of beet pulp in the bottom of a bucket and putting a little of water in it, then mix that into the food.

My daughter's steer last year would not eat similar to yours.  We ended up finding a 12% sweet feed with a lot of molasses on it, cooking barley for him, using Oxy Explosion, Power Fuel, calf manna and powdered probios.  This steer got the powdered probios every meal (we fed him 2x a day If we skipped the probios, he would stop eating.  We thought going into fair we could stop with the cooked barley and the probios - we moved in Thursday night and by Friday afternoon  I was running home to get the probios and the crockpot - he ate like a champ late friday night and saturday before we showed.  The powdered probios came from PBS Animal Health, and it's cheap - we just used the small can (which I think was around $7) and it would last quite a while - we went through 3 of them last year. Good Luck!

Try wetting the beet pulp, it makes it taste really good and it helps fill calves out

Might add some winning fill to his feed. My steer hadnt been eating so I started adding a handful of winning fill and now eats like a champ! Real cheap. $20 a bag. Has a sweet smell and definitely couldnt hurt anything.

Stabilized rice bran is only a horse feed. Our calves were a little picky when I first started feeding it but no problems now! We buy ours at Rural King but TSC also carries it!
