Had a first, and hopefully last for us the other day. The kids were our working the fall babies and the cows were gathered around the pen watching, along with last years fall show girls. There were out there a while and after a bit I went out to join them. Wasnt out there to long and glanced over at our stock tank. Now, keep in mind this is muzzleloader season in MO. There was a steady stream of water pouring out of the side of the tank. I thought, great.... seam broke! When I got over to the tank there was a nice hole in it the same size as a 30-30 bullet. Was torqued about the hole at first, then started thinking about the "What If's". Made some calls to a neighbor that lets people hunt his place from time to time. Turns out, there was a couple of people over there hunting. I teach Hunter Ed and am the first to realize richochets can happen, but this was a little close to home.
