Fluid Film. works really quick.

For people unfamiliar with fluid film, you can buy a can at your John Deere dealer....it works!

Thunder, you are correct. Once an calf gets ringworm that's it. They can't get it again or cases of repeated ringworm are very rare.

We have used Ring-Away for years and have had good and fast results with it.  We live in Iowa and order it out of Texas.

I bough a jam up golden child steer on time that was covered in ringworm and got him for almost nothing because of it.  I always use Captan (for roses etc)  make a paste like someone said and also if it's in several places we made a thinner solution and pour it all over them once a day.  Within a week you should notice new hair and it'll be all filled in soon, but it'll vary with hair length since it'll take longer to get 2 inches long than a 1/4 inch clipped calf.

Yes the bacon grese is a good idea but mixing in some copper sulphate is great as it is antifungal. also the french use common holly branches hung in the barn and it works!!!

Bacon grease...let it harden into a paste with rub it on the ringworm it will turn the spot red...keep it on there for three or four days it works like a charm and the hair grows back quick!!!
Bacon grese is great but if you add a little copper sulphate to it it is avan better . I would not take scab as it will dissappear to a powder after a while. Always wear disposable gloves as ringworm loves humans.
In France Cattle men use holly branches hung up in the barn as a cure apparently it works for them.

A product called MTG has been working very well for us. You can get it at TSC. It smells like barbecue.
