So I bred my heifer last year for ax fall calf. She calved last Thursday. With my amazing luck she had a bull calf. So my question is how quick do you think I can get it to 400 pounds?
The heifer is smaller framed about lowline size which is why I chose to breed her doc holliday the lowline bull for calling ease. I really need to have this calf at 400 in February for our county fair weigh in so I can do rate of gain and sell in auction...otherwise I won't get to show him. His birth weight was 70. I do plan to cut him...and I will keep everything legal-no steroids etc! :)

Is this even an achievable goal? Or am I gonna ruin him by pushing him so hard?

If this calf is that heavily Lowline influenced and you dont want to use steroids then there is a chance you may be out of luck getting there.  Make sure the cow is milking good and make sure you keep a high protein creep out for him all the time starting in a few weeks. Good luck!
