I checked the previous threads, and didn't see too much on anyone using Hubbard show feeds.
Is anyone using their feeds for show heifers?  Thinking about mixing our own using the Nutribase Plus.
Any feedback would be great.

Have had good luck using the Nutribase with ear corn, oats and molasses
Much cheaper than bagged feed

We make our own using nutribase and it is very similar to the showrite bagged feed, but it is $5 a hundred cheaper than buying the pre-mixed stuff directly from hubbard

I got a quote of $430 a ton for the nutribase mixed, with corn, oats, cottonseed hulls, molasses, and a little fat. Does that sound about right.
The ration we had made in the past was usually $50 to $80 a ton cheaper

Our finisher ration cost $360 today for a ton. It is made with roasted corn, oats, roasted beans, nutribase, steam rolled barley, cottenseed hull pellets, ccc, salt and vitamin e with some wet molasses
