If you had to use one bull this season on all your cows who would it be?  I've contemplated doing this, this year. But can't really decide between, a heat wave clone, my turn, bojo or possibly tiger woods.  What are your all's thoughts?

Well my top 3 are: Hi-View's Red Diamond, SULL Roan Goose, and Tiger Woods......I think we're going to mostly be using these 3 in the next few years, along with TM Gus and OFS Magic Jack.

If all your cow were 734 Simmi/Angus cows I would use a Heat Wave clone.  Hard to tell unless all your cows were pretty much the same kind of cow.

As a group they are average to above average muscled and have enough bone. I would say they need a little more rib and facncied up in the front end.

I would want to use a high % Maine-Anjou.  Looking at the past 20 years, the best of the bunch is FR Magic 179X.

Our past experience says Who Made Who.  He has been our most consistent giving A level calves almost always.  He is also been easy calving, we calved 10 to him this year and only helped one.  I think Ali would be my second choice, just not as consistent as we would like, but easy to calve out.

We're in Canada, so we're limited on who we can use.  I'd love to get My Turn, Bojo, and Tiger Woods.  Mercedes Benz looks like a good one to try next year.

We have calved Heatwaves at a limited rate, but I wouldn't want all of our cows bred to him for obvious reasons.

I love our 2 Monopoly calves this year, but they were big enough as well.

This year I am using mostly Lakeside Doc Clark 918.  He is the roan bull calf out of Captain Obvious that is shown under CO's pict in the Cattle Visions Catalog.

I would have a hard time chosing but instead of the Heat Wave clone I would go with Heat Wave 2 and Tiger woods, hard to decide.
