I need to figure out how to increase the fat content of our market steer without completely switching feeds. It took us forever to figure out how to get him to eat since hes so picky. His ration currently is 2.5% fat and I would like to increase it to around 4% (gets free choice bahai hay and is cumsuming on average 25lbs grain ration daily)

He is gaining nicely on his current ration - gaining approx 2.24 lb per day.  but I would like to really push the gain for the last 2 months

What would be some good things to use to increase fat content? Ive been thinking whole or cracked corn but that really isnt very high in fat (he does like cornmeal but it seems to go right through him and make his manure runny). is there a supplement on the market (available in florida) we could add?

any kind of soybean, or vegetable oil.  Most can be purchased at the local grocery store.

Healthy - Glo Stabilized Rice Bran Meal, not pellet. 1/2lb per feeding.
