I was really confused with the end results. What was up with the grand  and reserve hfrs selected. Just not expo champion quality at all. Truly didn't c either  her had the quality to be close to a top ten hfr What happened . Bad judging or politics.?..?...?

The show wasn't  Judged the best , marginal on reading structure and the grand and reserve females  were not close to top end  cattle. Heck the grand female should have been beat in a average class.

The female show judge was pretty dang bad. Comments on cattle didn't match the animal. Two  average heifers win. Steer show judge did well. Heifer show judge needs to stay with the small shows.

Not sure who is hacking into accounts, but my guess is that "showcat" and "dogger" is the same person who hacked into Scott's account (Husker1).  The same posts are showing up on numerous threads.  Jason, can you look into this?

Ok that's why she's won 2 of the biggest prospect shows in the country.

The judge is hired to give their opinion that day and that is official.I have helped the IJBBA as an advisor many years ago and I know it is more of an honor as it doesnt pay much. The quality of cattle, numbers, fitters and the time of year when the cattle have a full hair coat make it a big job.I do know her feet had to hurt and I will bet her next show she will probably wear more comfortable boots. The people that win should be happy and those that did not should understand. What a lot of the people that their only cattle experience with cattle is the show ring dont understand is the real world cattle business is not about the big boned, super hairy, extra thick, borderline straight cattle , but cattle that can function. It could have been like the show in Texas that people are complaining about.I personally have judged several shows and understand what its like as people can say anything they like on a computer board and in reality would have a hard time judging and explaining why.I think the gal did a nice job and I respect her opionion.
